Helsingin sarjakuvafestivaalit
Helsingin sarjakuvafestivaalit on Suomen suurin sarjakuvatapahtuma, joka järjestettiin ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1979. Nyt festivaalit järjestetään 25. kerran. Juhlavuoden kunniaksi tapahtuma sijoittuu Lasipalatsin aukiolle, Lasipalatsin ja vanhan linja-autoaseman väliin Helsingin ytimeen. Ohjelmaa on myös monilla muilla lähistön areenoilla. Festivaalien näytteilleasettaja-alue tulee keskittymään tapahtumatelttoihin Lasipalatsin aukiolle. Helsinki Comics Festival25th Helsinki Comics Festival will take place on the 10th - 12th of September at Lasipalatsi Square in Central Helsinki. The festival is the largest comic-related event in Finland and Northern Europe, organised by the Finnish Comics Society. This year's theme is European comic art.The festival has a comic fair for publishers and commerce from Finland and abroad. This will be arranged for the first time in a large scale tent at Lasipalatsi square at the heart of the city. The event is free and public, with 20,000 visitors expected during the weekend. Small Press Heaven is an alternative fair of zines, smaller publications and young artists at a separate spot near the main tent. The festival programme consists of lectures, discussions, interviews and signings. Different comic-related workshops are held for children and adults. A large variety of comic exhibitions are included in this year's festival, with 21 different art shows from Finnish and international artists. Several galleries and institutions are working together with the festival to create exhibitions. Different comics-related performances are also included. Among these are the Comic Battle international comics drawing contest, as well as Finnish artists competing in live picture storytelling for the title of "Aunt Kylli of Comics", in honour of the well-known Finnish children's storyteller. Booths of 3 x 3 meters are available for publishers and exhibitors at the comic fair. The space is open and tables and furniture can be reserved through organisers. Le Festival de la Bande Dessinée d’HelsinkiL'association de Bande Dessinée Finlandaise (Finnish Comics Society) organise pour la 25ème année le Festival de la Bande Dessinée d'Helsinki, qui se tiendra au Lasipalatsi Square, au centre d' Helsinki, du 10 au 12 Septembre 2010. Ce festival est l'évènement ayant attrait à la bande dessinée le plus important en Finlande et dans toute l' Europe du Nord. Le Festival comprend entre autres une foire de bandes dessinées et l'espace Small Press Heaven qui présente les publications indépendantes de Finlande et de l'étranger. Le programme du festival est composé de conférences, débats, interviews et dédicaces. Des performances spéciales sont aussi prévues: le concours international de dessin de bandes dessinées “Comic Battle” ainsi qu'une compétition entre les artistes finlandais pour le titre de "Aunt Kylli of Comics", en hommage au célèbre écrivain pour enfants.
